The signs of spring are all around these days. The Easter holidays have come and gone, birds are migrating home to build temporary homes for their new arrivals, and the vibrant spring flowers are reminding us of the beauty that nature possesses. A continuous message that life is all around us!
As we prepared for Easter, we created an Easter tree from the cherry branches that we pruned off our trees. A bit of water and heat resulted in beautiful leaves and some cherry blossums for our home. Below you will see a close-up of some of the ornaments. This tree is a popular custom in certain parts of Europe to celebrate the meaning of Easter and the coming of spring.
