Fellow Hikers

Our hike this weekend took us past this group of bovines.  The previous day had been rainy and cool but today promised bright sunshine.  This group was deciding where to begin their grazing.  The mature members of the community were voting with their actions and enjoying the nettles and brush.  The younger calves were not so sure they wanted to make this the daily meal.  Upon our return, the group had moved deeper into the woods to not only eat but avoid the bugs and heat of the day.
