Homage to the Bee

When I started writing this blog, it was an opportunity to share my experiences with nature.  Watching the bees in my yard enjoying the beauty of each flower as well as producing their food inspired me.  One evening this July, I was hiking in the mountains and came upon a field of Queen Anne’s Lace (also referred to as Cow Parsnip in the Carrot Family) that had just bloomed. It was filled with productivity from the bees and I was able to capture this phenomenon to share with readers.

As I mentioned, this field of beauty had just opened for all to appreciate.  The trick was being at the right place at the right time.  And that is a trick.  In today's society, every minute seems to be taken between family, career, service, and maintaining basic needs.  So when serendipity hits and we can enjoy something as natural as a fresh bloom, I hope we allow ourselves the time to stop, enjoy, and refresh.
