Evergreens in Summer
Today I had the privilege of working from home. My two hours of commuting disappeared and at 5:30 I disappeared to the mountains for a short walk. It was absolutely beautiful. The forest was filled with silence that was only occasionally broken by a passing bird. As I passed spruce and pine trees, I was greeted by the smell of evergreen. This photo of new growth might bring this smell to you.
