August Blooms - Early Fall?

Today we enjoyed a beautiful hike!  The path was lined with spontaneous yellow and purple clumps of color thanks to wild daisies and zinnia that have not succumb to heat. Honeybees were busy gathering the last remnants of pollen as they prepare for winter.  Here are a few photos to share:

As we finished the walk, we were both struck by the signs of fall.  The breeze, the smell of leaves, and the passing of all bright flowers immediately came to mind.  It reminded us that change is inevitable and it is wise to embrace it as the leaves turn to bright yellow, red, and orange.
