Summer - It Is Buzzing By

It has been a month since I posted to the site. Family vacations, preparing for the opening of fall term, maintaining my garden, and traveling to the mountains for a hike have kept me very busy. But I am back to continue my posts on nature and life.

While traveling, we were able to take some great photos of the namesake of this blog. Yes more photos of bees. Besides honey, bees are so important in the production of fruit and vegetables. Through their efforts, plants are pollinated to produce sweet cherries, plump tomatoes, and luscious corn. So I think a few photos and kind words are the least one can do to thank them for their contribution to a productive garden.
