Direction, Opportunities, and Choices

Trail Sign and Options
The photo above reminds me of the opportunities I enjoy everyday of my life and the importance of direction as I make my choices.  One of my choices is to hike every weekend regardless of my location.  This activity is how I refresh and allow myself time to reflect on my life.  Regardless of the location, I always research the terrain, pack appropriate supplies, and check the weather.  If my preparation is right, my time on the trail is spent enjoying the space and creatures around me.  A flower or a bird can create a pattern that will offer inspiration for another aspect of my life.  Below you will find a few photos that inspired me this weekend.

Blue Lupines and Yellow Mules Ear
Below - can you find the bee who is enjoying the pollen in these yellow flowers?  If you think about the life of a bee, it is all about direction, opportunities, and choices.
