The white flower in these photos is called the American Bistort. It reminds me of a brush to clean a bottle due to its shape and how straight it stands in a field. It is actually an herb and a member of the Buckwheat family. Some would say a tasty treat if you harvested enough to make a powder for bread.
A blog about nature connecting to life on a daily basis. This connectivity might be intentional or random but it occurs if people create an interest in monitoring it within their life. Topics will include bees, flowers, fruits, vegetables, places, weather, and random topics that appeal to the writer.

Fields of Blue and White
